NMU Football One Day Technique Camp
Campers will be coached by our Wildcat Football Coaches in individual positional drill work and have an opportunity to be evaluated first hand by the Wildcat Coaching Staff.
Ages: 9th - 12th graders
Dates: Saturday, June 19, 2021
Times: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Location: NMU Superior Dome and outdoor fields
Check-in: Check in will be located on the North side of the dome between the two paved parking lots.
Entrance to the Dome will be through the Northwest doors.
Exiting the Dome will be through the Northeast doors.
What to bring to camp: Campers should bring cleats and workout clothes. Campers must provide their own helmet and mouth guard.

Under the current MDHHS order and Interim Guidance for Athletics (Testing Requirements):
Unvaccinated participants ages 13-19 participating in contact and non-contact organized sports must test for SARS-CoV-2 on at least a weekly basis. Weekly proof of a negative diagnostic test (antigen or RT-PCR) must be provided to Tricia Bush in the Rec Department prior to participating in the program.
Fully vaccinated individuals, anyone fully vaccinated, two weeks after the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna or two weeks after the one shot Johnson and Johnson, is exempt from testing. Proof of vaccination needs to be sent to Tricia Bush in the Rec Department prior to participating in the program.
Participants who have recovered from confirmed COVID-19 in the past three months and remain symptom-free may gather for purposes of sports practice or competition without testing if:
- they can provide a letter from their doctor attesting that they fall into this category, or
- they have proof of a positive antigen or RT-PCR diagnostic test within three months. An antibody test is not sufficient.
- Proof needs to be sent to Tricia Bush in the Rec Department prior to participating in the program. COVID Tests should be no more than one week prior to camp date.
Mask Requirements per the current MDHHS orders and the Interim Guidance for Athletics:
Outdoor Sports - vaccinated and unvaccinated participants are not required to wear masks while actively participating in outdoor sports when conducted outdoors. This applies to both contact and non-contact sports. All participants can gather outdoors without wearing face masks.
Indoor Sports - Unvaccinated participants, coaches and other team personnel must wear a face mask at all times when indoors.
Indoor Sports - Vaccinated participants, coaches and other team personnel do not need to wear face masks while participating in organized sports, indoor and outdoors. This applies to both contact and non-contact organized sports.
Parents and spectators will need to stay outside the field of play and out of contact with participants, while the camp is in session.
Parents are expected to wait in the parking lot pick up zone for pick up (No Spectators).
Participants will come "football ready" with no access to locker rooms, there are bathrooms located within the Superior Dome if necessary. (Unvaccinated participants are required to wear a mask when entering the Dome).
Participants will bring and use their personal equipment, including water.
Camp will take place outside at the Football Practice Fields.
All camp activities will be conducted at the outdoor practice fields (weather permitting)
